Pastor Jud’s passion is telling others about Christ and the wonderful works Christ has done in his own life. The Word of God is complete truth, and he preaches and teaches this truth at every opportunity.  He lets the Holy Spirit guide and direct his leadership of Crossroads Baptist Church and in the counsel of its members.  

 

     He was ordained as a Deacon in 2005, and felt the call to preach soon after. Pastor Jud spent all of his free time studying the Word and was licensed as a minister in 2012.   He was ordained as a Minister in 2014, and served as an interim pastor and supply pastor for several churches before accepting the call to lead Crossroads in August 2017. Prior to serving in this full time capacity, Pastor Jud was a forklift service technician for over 35 years, where he used his love of the Lord to witness to all he came in contact with.  

 

     Pastor Jud and his wife Melissa joined Crossroads in May 2015, so they are at home with their brothers and sisters in Christ, and feel truly blessed to lead and serve the Lord with this church family.  They make their home in Batesburg, and have two grown children, Zachery and Magan.
